Elistair Integrates Unmanned Ad-Hoc Networking From Silvus Into Its Tethered UAV Platform

Elistair and Silvus technologies united their expertise to provide mobile-networked multiple inputs and multiple-output (MN-MIMO) networking by embedding a Silvus Streamcaster 4200 MIMO radio into an Elistair ORION tethered UAS. The tethered UAS provides ad-hoc networking for the battlefield, to enhance situational awareness and facilitate communications and surveillance missions.

Hoverfly in the Air at DSEI Last Week With New Partnership

At DSEI last week, Hoverfly’s LiveSky tether-powered UAS was in the air as the EO/IR sensor as part Drumgrange LTD’s Integrated Shared Situational Awareness Solution, installed on a Polaris DAGOR A1 ultra-light tactical vehicle.  Visitors to the Drumgrange stand S2-225 at DSEI were treated to the unique mobile ISR and communication capability.

Silent Falcon UAS Technologies Selects Silvus Technologies as Comm System Partner; and Introduces the SF ATAK Field Observer Kit

Silent Falcon UAS Technologies, a leading UAS service provider and manufacturer of the Silent Falcon™, a solar electric, fixed wing, long endurance, long range Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), is pleased to announce its partnership with Silvus Technologies. Silent Falcon™ integrates Silvus’s advanced technology MIMO MANET Streamcaster communications systems in its unmanned aircraft systems including its new SF ATAK Field Observer Kit.

Silvus Technologies and Information Assurance Specialists Team to Deliver Classified Data Protection on MANET Radio Networks Using NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC)

Protecting classified data transit within mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) is a challenge. Since
MANET radios are mobile, they can constantly change their connectivity with each other. With
this change in connectivity comes a commensurate change in security associations and the need
to rapidly adapt the cryptographic solution. In addition, standard encryption approaches for
classified data force the radio to be a classified device because keys are entered into the radio
and retained there. MANET radios are often taken far from protected bases or used in
unattended deployments and hence it is a liability for a MANET radio be a classified device.

Silvus Technologies partners with Anduril Industries for mobile-networked MIMO wireless communications systems to optimize inter-system communications

Today, Silvus Technologies, the innovator of Mobile-Networked MIMO (MN-MIMO) wireless communications systems, announced its partnership with Anduril Industries, a defense technology company specializing in AI powered solutions, to provide MN-MIMO technology for high bandwidth, meshed video and data communications through Silvus’s StreamCaster 4200 tactical radios.

Silvus Enhances MN-MIMO Waveform with Cognitive Radio Capabilities

Silvus Technologies announced today that it has developed a cognitive radio capability that enables StreamCaster Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) to operate in the presence of jammers and other sources of electromagnetic interference.

Silvus to Provide Radios in Support of the UK Ministry of Defense STARTER program with Harris Corporation’s T7 Robotics System

After an extensive testing and evaluation period, Harris has chosen Silvus Technologies StreamCaster SC4200 as the radio to provide wireless command, control, and video operations of the T7 robot. The rugged construction and superb robustness of the StreamCaster radios allows T7 operators to more effectively defeat explosive threats, including improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from a safe stand-off distance.
