Exercise demonstrated air drop of sonobuoys from a Northrop Grumman Fire Scout surrogate aircraft and deployed the Northrop Grumman micro synthetic aperture sonar with real-time automated target recognition on a man-portable UUV.

 

An undisclosed US DoD agency conducted a training exercise during the first week of September designed to consider next-generation technologies capable of supporting small unit teams operating in austere conditions.
