Silvus Technologies StreamCaster™ radios excel in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) telerobotic missions in harsh urban environments. Using the breakthrough of MIMO antenna processing, Silvus' radios allow for wireless operation deep into buildings, culverts and other structures at safe standoff distances where other radios fail.
The requirements of a robotics mission are varied and unpredictable with regard to distance, terrain and obstacles. Silvus MIMO radios seamlessly and automatically shift between 30+ discrete operating modes to dynamically adapt to ever changing channel conditions. The user is left to focus on the mission at hand.
Silvus StreamCaster™ radios have been extensively field tested in realistic mission scenarios, demonstrating significant improvements over traditional radios. Silvus StreamCaster™ is available in a ruggedized enclosure or as an OEM PCB stack for reduced SWaP.
Silvus MIMO radios are approved for use by QinetiQ in their TALON robots. Integration kits are also available for other robotic platforms.
