Enabling next-gen broadcast applications using aerial assets

ENG helicopters, airships, and UAVs can be equipped with Silvus Technologies MN-MIMO to provide connectivity to fixed sites and to other field assets.  As well as transmitting their own program video, helicopters, airships, and UAVs can simultaneously act as a relay, providing connectivity for a wireless camera, MN-MIMO augmented backpack, or MN-MIMO vehicle back to the station.
 
Silvus MN-MIMO ENG helicopters and airships equipped with multiple cameras (main gimbal, talent, tail camera) can now transmit all video feeds over the same frequency channel, to the same site simultaneously, eliminating the need for video switching in the aircraft.  Additionally, return video, IFB, and FTP are all supported over the same MN-MIMO RF network.
 
ENG helicopters and airships can also be equipped with hybrid-switchable Silvus MN-MIMO / COFDM systems to ensure backward compatibility with existing COFDM Rx sites that have not yet been transitioned over to MN-MIMO operation.
